REVIEWS

"Written by a brilliant visionary with both feet on the ground and eyes wide open, the Global Curriculum is an all-encompassing program for anyone and everyone interested in truly understanding the myriad factors and inherent dynamics that underlie the challenging cross-cultural complexities of our world today. This progressive course of study, which anyone, anywhere can plug into, will help individuals navigate the nuances of our ever-changing world in all its facets: political, religious, economic, spiritual, intellectual, and artistic, as we shift from an old paradigm, mechanistic way of thinking to a new way of organic living and relating that honors the Earth and life in all its forms."
~ Anne Dillon, Editor, Inner Traditions - Bear & Co. Publishers

I got the link to my account and I starting to utilize the info already in my world history class! What a wonderful resource.
~ Christopher Beck, World History teacher
"Had you told me there would be a book that included the following list of my personal favorite people on the planet: that they would somehow be interconnected and that they all had elements vital to the life of our planet, I probably would have said "you're nuts". How about: Goethe, Kant, Ken Wilbur, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Galileo, Copernicus, Voltaire, Socrates, Darwin, Henry Bergson, William James, Carl Jung, Walt Whitman William Blake, Einstein, John Muir, Gandhi, the Wright Brothers, James Dean, Jack Kerouac, Bob Dylan & T. S. Eliot—and more-- all rolled into one gigantic orchestra, "in tune" with no missing beats. It all makes sense and this book is a beautiful “symphony” of inspiration and holistic thinking.
Not since finding Howard Zinn's "A Peoples History of the United States"…which I found in a yard sale, have I read anything that CHANGED so profoundly the WAY I THINK. How I wish EVERYONE who grew up BEING TOLD LIES, as I did, would stumble onto this book by Michael Schacker. It is like discovering our ENTIRE world history—or at least the most important missing pieces in one basic, as Thoreau would have it: "voluntarily simple", presentation. How I wish I had this book in front of me as a young man. This book answers many of those questions about our past and where we are going: Unbelievably, it has a happy ending, but you’ll have to read it to find out!"
~ Mark Robinson, Life-long learner (review of the curriculum course book: Global Awakening, New Science and the 21st Century Enlightenment)
